Clinch Valley Antique Tractor Club was formed in 1993 for the sport of Antique Tractor Pulling. We have been accident free from the start of our club. Pulls are held for all to enjoy from the youngest to the oldest. We have a pedal tractor pull for the little pullers at every event. 1 year old to 8 years old are encouraged to participate. Trophies are given to all these pullers regardless.
Our rules are very simple. Examples of some are 1959 and older tractors accepted for competition Wheel weights and frame weights allowed. No hang on weights allowed. 3.5 mph and 4.0 mph speeds strictly enforced. 2 Sleds are used. 1st sled for tractors up to 6000 lbs (3.5 mph). 6500 up to 12000 lbs (4.0 mph) on the big sled. Average track length is 175 feet with 4 feet total up hill grade. We have 15 classes from 2000 to 12000 lbs. Tractors must remain stock. No hot or modified tractors in competition. Exibition tractors allowed after each weight class. Tractors may pull only 1 time in each class in competition
